In the last gasp of Christmas shopping go for a Really Good Humorous and Quirky TIN to put things in. At Velvet Moon shop in 79 St George’s Road, G3 6JA there is a terrific variety of tins of all shapes and sizes with witty messages on the lid to identify the contents (and characterise the new owner!)
Who could resist a savings box saying: ‘Stupid little coins.’ Or a big box saying ‘Man Tin – leads, screws & other pointless stuff I must keep.’
We all need receptacles of this kind to keep things. There are suitable tins for receipts, parking coins, first aid ‘Human Repair Kit’ and even a ‘Naughty Tin’ which gives no direction as to what the contents might be… Prices range from £2.50 to £15 and there are coasters and mugs in the Really Good selection too.
