At 3.30am, the announcement came that voters in Glasgow North West had returned John Robertson as their MP, with 19,233 votes. LibDem Natalie McKee was placed second with 5622 votes. Green, Moira Crawford, won 882 votes; the Communist Party’s Marc Livingstone polled 179 votes; Scott McLean of the BNP won 699 votes, Conservative Richard Sullivan 3537 and Mags Park of the SNP 5430 votes.
