Glasgow city's Lisa Evans gives Hibs a run for their effort

This weekend sees the much anticipated match between league leaders and current champions, Glasgow City, against second placed and midweek League Cup winners, Celtic. It is the clash of the two Glasgow female football giants and with both teams on maximum points so far this campaign, the build up could not be bigger.
As City and Celtic continue to look more than capable of defeating everyone else in the League, the stakes could not be higher for Sunday as City and Scotland Under 19 striker Lisa Evans knows.
She said: ‘I have managed to break into the City First team this season so every match I play is a bonus, but to have the chance to be part of the game against Celtic, especially when it is such an important game, is fantastic. We have been playing really well lately. Confidence is high among the team and we are desperate for our fourth straight League title. Three points on Sunday would definitely help.’
The match takes place at the home of St Mirren Youth Academy in Ralston. Kick off is 1pm and as usual with the City Celtic games, a good crowd is expected. Directions can be found on the Glasgow City website www.glasgowcityladiesfc.co.uk
