Faiza Amjid, Senior Campaign Manager with Oceanic Consulting said: “English-Scottish rivalry is undoubtedly long standing, whether it is in relation to football or fashion. Though London, Birmingham, Bradford and Manchester are recognised as forerunners when it comes to the Asian Wedding Industry in Britain, Scotland, and in particular Glasgow, has been strongly emerging over the past few years as a real contender as a shopping destination. The introduction of the Business Awards looks to recognise the developments taking place in the industry in Scotland and to encourage further expansion and evolution.”
