Everyone at the LOCAL NEWS GLASGOW wishes our readers and advertisers a Happy Christmas and a healthy, prosperous New Year.

It has been a momentous year for us at YAM Publications Ltd which publishes the paper. We combined our two previous LOCAL NEWS titles into the present one giving a bigger and (we hope!) a better paper. This monthly newspaper now covers the city across the Southside (where we started in 1997), the West End (where we launched in 2007) and the North and the East where we have started to distribute more recently.

Like the 85-year-old abseiler it has been a bit of a bounce but we’re not slowing down either, even if the recession gives us some heart-stopping moments. So look out for your favourite paper which you tell us is ‘a good read!’

Industry pundits calculate more people read adverts in a community paper such as the LOCAL NEWS GLASGOW than other regional papers. So keep on folks and let us know of new places where you’d like to pick up your FREE copy of the paper.
