Change is all around us. Whether we direct it ourselves or it decends on us involuntarily, the only sure thing is - life will change.

This newspaper is no exception. Launched with a passion in 1997 to be a platform for community news and views on the Southside of Glasgow, it has evolved till it now covers most of the city.

Our ethos has always been to accent the positive and highlight the successes and achievements of people and communities.

From this issue, we are combining our two previous LOCAL NEWS titles into one bigger, better monthly newspaper -LOCAL NEWS GLASGOW.

Our print run has increased from a total of 40,000 copies to 60,000 allowing us to distribute into places we couldn’t go to before. If you want the LOCAL NEWS GLASGOW to be distributed into your area, phone or email us with your request and we’ll do our best to get copies to your neighbourhood.
